Easier Now vs Tiimo
Tiimo makes the day visible. Easier Now also runs the work.
Tiimo is a visual day planner built for neurodivergent people, and it is good at that. Easier Now covers the same one-thing-at-a-time need and carries client projects, routines and a team as well.
Side by side
These two share a starting point that most productivity software misses: a plain list is not enough when starting is the hard part.
| Capability | Easier Now | Tiimo |
|---|---|---|
| What you see when you open it | One task, four buttons | A visual timeline of your day |
| Built with neurodivergent users in mind | ||
| Visual timeline and widgets | Day timeline in the app | A core part of the product |
| Hours attached to each task | An estimate on every task | Durations you set |
| Estimates learn from your logged minutes | ||
| Client projects and portfolios | ||
| Assign tasks to other people | On the Team plan | |
| Points and a growth visual you can switch off |
Where Tiimo is the better fit
Tiimo is designed around making time visible, and its timeline, timers and widgets do that better than we do. It is mobile-first and warm, it has been built with its community for years, and if what you need is a calm visual structure for a personal day, it is a strong answer. It is also not trying to run a business, which keeps it simple.
Where Easier Now is the better fit
If the same brain also has to run client work, Tiimo will not hold that load. Easier Now takes the whole load, personal and work, into one queue: projects per client, repeating routines, Google Calendar both ways, and delegation when you have people. It still gives you one task at a time, and it still does not punish you for a missed day.
Where they overlap
Both put a single thing in front of you instead of a list to sort. Both are careful about tone, and neither uses shame as a mechanic. If you have tried mainstream productivity apps and found them cold, either of these will feel different.
Where they separate
Tiimo is about one person’s day. Easier Now is about one person’s whole load, which usually includes other people’s work.
The practical test: if the tasks you keep dropping are invoices, client follow-ups and things you meant to hand to someone else, you need projects, routines and delegation around the one-task screen. If they are appointments, chores and personal admin, a visual planner may be all you want.
On the tree
Easier Now has XP and a growing tree, and both of them switch off in settings. Some people want the points and some people find points on their own work irritating. You get to pick, and nothing else about the app changes either way.
Questions about switching
I have abandoned every productivity app. Why would Easier Now be different?
Easier Now has nothing to maintain. There is no board to tidy, no weekly setup and no daily planning session. Miss a fortnight and you are handed the backlog one item at a time, with three buttons under each: skip it, do it today, or mark it done.
Do I have to have the tree and the points?
Finishing a task earns XP and grows a tree. It is optional: one setting turns both off, and nothing else about the app changes.
I do not have an ADHD diagnosis. Is Easier Now still for me?
Easier Now is built for people with more to do than time, including people with ADHD. No diagnosis is needed and none is asked for. If picking what to start is the slow part, Easier Now does the picking.
