Be on top of your day without holding it all in your head.

A hundred things to do, and one of them already chosen.

Stop waking up wondering what to work on.

You wake up and the day is already worked out. You open Easier Now, do the thing in front of you, and nothing important slips behind your back.

Finish a task, log the minutes it took, and the next task is already waiting for you.
My today list is 50 items. There is a hundred hours of work in my today section.

Your week

Wake up rested, with nothing amiss.

No dread about opening the app. No second guessing what you should be doing. You get up, you start, and by the evening the things that mattered are done.

What a to-do list does now

  • The longer the list gets, the harder it is to open.
  • Every time you finish something, you have to decide what to do next.
  • Miss two days and 71 overdue tasks are waiting.
  • Time tracking is something a manager makes you do, so nobody keeps it up.

How the week feels instead

  • Opening the app is easy, because there is one thing on it.
  • You finish something and you are already into the next thing.
  • Two days away does not cost you the week.
  • You stop promising hours you do not have.

Sorted for you

The highest impact work is scheduled first.

Fourteen hours of tasks, six hours of day. You find out in the morning which tasks are moving to tomorrow, instead of at six in the evening.

A plain list A list that only gets longer You cannot see how many hours are sitting in it.
Easier Now Two tasks move to tomorrow You find that out in the morning, not at the end of the day.

Strict and flexible

Mark it strict and it stays where you put it.

The school run, the dentist, feeding the cats, going to sleep, the hour you keep for email. Strict covers all of that, and your flexible work is fitted into the hours left over.

Tasks carry a verb and a colon, meetings do not. WRITE: the launch email needed 85 minutes and no gap was that long, so it runs as 1 of 2 and 2 of 2.

This is your Google Calendar, syncing both ways.

What comes next

The top of the queue is the right thing to do next.

How urgent it is, how much it matters and what an hour of it is worth are all being weighed, so you never have to rank anything yourself.

Getting it out of your head

Say it once and stop carrying it.

Type "write social posts for three clients" and Easier Now files three separate tasks in the right projects.

  • Nothing is left sitting in your head overnight
  • Add a task in seconds, from wherever you are
  • Bring your old app across in one CSV file
One sentence in, three tasks out, each filed in the right project.

Missed a week?

Go back over it in a few minutes.

Catch-up hands you what you missed one card at a time, so you can claim the XP you did not collect and decide what still matters.

  • Skip a routine, because it comes round again
  • Delete a one-off, because it will not
  • Or press Do today and it goes back into today
Seventy-one to get through, one card at a time. Swipe it away, take the XP, and watch the bar fill.

Routines

Set it once and stop remembering it.

Daily, weekly, monthly or yearly, on the day and at the time you pick.

  • Miss Sunday's plant watering and it is near the top of Monday's personal list
  • One routine stays one task, however long you leave it
  • Each one is scheduled around your strict commitments

End of the day

Close the day knowing you did enough.

The Daily Review shows what you finished and the minutes each task took, ticks off the habits you decided matter to you, and leaves room to note how the day went.

  • Your own non-negotiables, whether that is exercise or supplements
  • A line or two of reflection, only if you want to write one
  • Anything unfinished moves to tomorrow on its own

The tree

Finish things and the tree grows.

Keep showing up and it keeps growing. Finish the high value work and it grows faster.

  • Every task you finish earns XP, and the XP earns levels
  • Stop showing up and the tree withers
  • One setting turns the whole thing off

The Info tab

Take notes. Turn the checkboxes into tasks.

Every task holds a full notes page. Write the actions as checkboxes while the client is still talking, press + Task, and Easier Now shows you what it is about to create before it creates it.

A checkbox in your notes is just a checkbox. Press + Task, or click away from the note, and Easier Now shows you what it is about to create before it creates it.

What you get back

What Anthony got back.

He built Easier Now and runs a marketing agency on it. The number is his own, and so is the reason for it.

Anthony Stratton, who built Easier Now
It doubled my productivity. Most of that is the routine work I would otherwise forget about entirely, coming back round in front of me on the day it is due.
Anthony Stratton Founder of Easier Now. He runs a marketing agency on it. His own week, on his own account. We have not measured this across everybody, and we are not going to say we have.
  • Your real minutes Finishing a task records how long it took.
  • Your own numbers Two weeks in, look at them and decide if we earned it.
  • No planning session No Sunday night setup and no daily tidy up.
  • Nothing to maintain The app is not one more thing to keep up to date.

Compared with other apps

Most people run three or four of these.

Tick the ones you open. You get two answers: what you would keep, and what you would gain.

Tick every app you open in a week

Tick one or more apps above and the two lists fill in.

What you keep

Easier Now does these as well, so moving costs you none of them.

  • Tasks Quick capture Type a task in plain language and it is in.
  • Tasks Deadlines A due date on the card, purple until it passes, then red.
  • Projects Work grouped into projects Every task sits under a project, and a project under a client.
  • Notes Notes on the work A rich text box on every task: images, bullets, code blocks.
  • Tasks Repeating work Routines daily to yearly. Miss one and it waits at the top of tomorrow.
  • Time Tasks and meetings in one calendar Two-way Google Calendar sync, with a verb prefix on every task.
  • Time Hours on a task Every task carries an estimate, so the day can be counted.
  • Team Hand work to someone Assign a task to a teammate on the Team plan.
  • Team Your team can see the work Shared projects, and where each one has got to.
  • Projects This one after that one Finish-to-start dependencies, and the schedule respects them.

  • Time Refit the day when you run late Press Optimise schedule and what is left is refitted.
  • Time Long work cut to fit A task too long for the gap in front of it is sliced into pieces.
  • Time Told what will not fit The hours are counted against the day you actually have left.
  • Tasks One task on screen One card and four buttons, not a list to sort through.
  • Tasks The order decided for you Urgency, importance and pay grade set what comes next.
  • Tasks A missed week, one card at a time Catch-up hands back each overdue task: Skip, Do today or Done.
  • Time Hours recorded without a timer Finish a task, confirm the minutes, and it is logged.
  • Time Estimates that learn Your real minutes make the next estimate a better one.
  • Notes Checkboxes become real tasks Tick-boxes in a note turn into cards, after you confirm each one.
  • Team Work and personal kept apart A teammate cannot see what you do after hours.
  • Tasks Points you can switch off Finished work grows a tree. Turn it off and nothing is lost.

Nothing yet, so there is nothing to carry over.

FAQs

I have abandoned every productivity app. Why would Easier Now be different?

Easier Now has nothing to maintain. There is no board to tidy, no weekly setup and no daily planning session. Miss a fortnight and you are handed the backlog one item at a time, with three buttons under each: skip it, do it today, or mark it done.

Does it connect to my calendar?

Yes, Google Calendar, both ways. Events come in with prep and travel time added, tasks can be written back as calendar blocks, and you choose which calendars sync. More calendars are on the roadmap. You can also split personal from work, so nobody on your team sees what you do after hours.

What if Easier Now does not work for me?

If this is your first subscription, ask us within 30 days of your first payment and we refund it. No form, and you do not have to tell us why.

I do not have an ADHD diagnosis. Is Easier Now still for me?

Easier Now is built for people with more to do than time, including people with ADHD. No diagnosis is needed and none is asked for. If picking what to start is the slow part, Easier Now does the picking.

Can I keep my notes with the work?

Yes. Each task carries its own page for images, text, bullets and code blocks. The checkboxes you write there stay checkboxes until you press + Task or click away from the note, at which point Easier Now shows you the cards it would make and creates them once you confirm. Nothing is retyped, and links hold, so a month later the whole project is still on one page.

What happens to a repeating task if I miss it?

Set the repeat and the time once. If you are away when one is due it is not lost: it moves near the top of the next day's list for that side of your life, and it never turns into ten copies of itself.

How does it know what it is allowed to move?

You mark each task strict or flexible. Strict means anchored to a time, and that covers more than meetings: picking the kids up, the dentist, going to sleep, feeding the cats, the window you keep for email. Everything flexible is fitted around those.

Wake up tomorrow already knowing what to start.

Put your work in tonight and connect Google Calendar. Tomorrow starts with the thing that matters most, already scheduled.
